"BACK HOME - FIELD STATION MAXCINE" - YOUNG SCIENTIST CAMP 2024
Under the motto ‘Back Home - Field Station MaxCine’, the second camp in 2024 offered a multifaceted exploration of the three departments through intellectual, scientific and artistic approaches. Topics such as camera traps, transmitter construction, primate research, bio-inspired robots as well as philosophical and ethical aspects were discussed and linked together. The participants also had space for exchange and activities in nature, which strengthened individual and collective intuition.
"A KNOWLEDGE-CREATING CAMP" - YOUNG SCIENTIST CAMP 2024
This MaxCine Camp went to Italy, first to the quarries of the Apuan Alps in the footsteps of Michelangelo. We were then drawn to Orbetello, an important wintering ground for numerous bird species such as the pink flamingo.

In 2023, the Young Scientist Camp once again took us to Italy, but this time to Tuscany in the almost untouched wilderness. We dealt with the topics “Nature - Creating Knowledge - Society - Future”.
DRAW YOUR PATH - YOUNG SCIENTIST CAMP 2022
We are very happy that we could finally realize a scientific camp with young people abroad again! This time we went to Italy, more precisely to the Gran Paradiso National Park near Turin. There we dealt with the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior and its three departments mentally, scientifically and graphically.
YOUNG SCIENTISTS CAMPS 2021
In the summer of 2021 it was finally possible again to realize some meetings with the young people of the Young Scientists. Since we could not travel far, we met at the institute in Möggingen and explored the area of the western part of Lake Constance together.
